Ever since we bought a firepit, my family has been loving roasting marshmallows and building s'mores by the bonfire. One night I had the idea of making a S'mores overnight oats recipe, but one that would fit my macros.
I wanted it to be high protein, easy to make, feel healthy and of course taste like a s'mores.
And that's exactly how it turned out… after a few tries of course. Now I'm here to share it! How will it benefit you?
3 Benefits of Making This Recipe
- Easy, meal prep breakfast. When mornings are busy (which they usually are), it's crucial to have a high-protein, filling breakfast at the ready so you can start your day on the right foot and our High Protein S'Mores Overnight Oats do just that.
- 43g of protein. If you struggle with hitting your daily protein goal, adding this protein powerhouse to your morning routine will make your life so much easier.
- It tastes like an indulgent treat. Who doesn't love the classic flavors of a S'more? We used this as our inspiration to create a nourishing, yet indulgent breakfast that you'll look forward to enjoying.
What Makes It Macro Friendly?
I used a high-quality protein powder (Clean Simple Eats) and a light Greek yogurt. Both of these ingredients are low in calories, balanced healthy fats, and high in protein, a perfect combination for a macro friendly breakfast recipe!

Customization Options
We all have different weight and body composition goals, so here's some helpful tips to customize your S'Mores overnight oats:
Add More Protein Without Sacrificing The Taste
Instead of using the recommended 1 scoop of protein powder, you can use 1 1/2 – 2 scoops. This might change the consistency, so you may need to play around with how much Fairlife chocolate milk you put in.
You can add extra Greek yogurt, but don't overdo it. My recommendation would be to start small, add 1-2 tablespoons of the added light Greek yogurt to avoid overpowering the flavor.
Mix it as good as you can to make it a smooth consistency.
How To Store
You can store the S'mores overnight oats in the refrigerator, and it can last up to 5 days in the fridge. Be sure to taste it before storing to make sure you have the consistency just right. If you follow the recipe, the consistency will be perfect. Adding more protein ingredients? You may need to adjust the milk.
