Lunch, Recipes

I love a good sandwich for lunch, like this macro-friendly Ham & Cheese club sandwich, but let’s be honest, they can get a tad boring after a while. If you’ve been following me for some time, you’re probably already aware that I tend to eat the same things in some variation every day – especially when it comes to breakfast and lunch! I need quick, easy, convenient, and macro-friendly.

However, I also like to mix it up every once in a while and that’s just what I did when I made this high-protein turkey ranch crunch wrap. Ready in 5 minutes or less, this super satisfying wrap is macro-friendly and packs in 34g of protein to help fuel the rest of your day.

final turkey wrap high protein recipe
  1. It’s got 34g of protein. Hitting our protein targets is one of the biggest obstacles for so many, but this turkey ranch crunch wrap makes it so simple!
  2. You’ll have lunch in 5 minutes or less. Most of us don’t have time to cook elaborate meals during our lunch breaks, so the fact that this wrap comes together in just a few minutes is a big win.
  3. It’s a great way to sneak in extra veggies and nutrients. You can put anything you’d like in your turkey wrap, including as many veggies as your wrap will hold! Plus, the more veggies you add, the more flavors you’ll enjoy.

Kitchen Tools Required

How to Make Ranch Turkey Crunchwrap

  1. Place a small frying pan on your cooktop and heat over medium.
  2. While the pan is heating up, lay out your flatbread on a flat surface.
  3. Spread your cheese wedge across the center of the wrap (don’t cover the whole thing).
  4. Layer your deli turkey, turkey pepperoni, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles in the center of the wrap.
  5. Begin folding the wrap up around the contents. Start with the top and bottom layers and make your way around the wrap to enclose everything inside (it should be rounded or pentagon shaped when you’re done).
  6. Carefully add your wrap to the hot pan, fold side down to sear the wrap closed. Cook on one side for 2-3 minutes, or until the wrap is crispy.
  7. Spray the top side of the wrap with cooking spray and flip it over to sear the top side. Allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the top of the wrap is crispy.
  8. Remove from the pan, cut your wrap in half, and enjoy!

Swaps or Alternatives

Flatbread – I used a Jospeh’s Lavash, however, there are plenty of other options out there. Keep in mind that you’ll want a flatbread that’s large enough to accommodate all your contents and still be wrapped up tightly. Too small of a wrap will cause it to tear and bust.

Deli turkey – If turkey isn’t your jam or you don’t have any on hand, on type of deli meat will world great. You could even swap the deli meat for chicken breast.

Turkey pepperoni – I love to add turkey pepperoni because it adds a kick to the wrap and offers up a nice amount of protein, however, you can omit it or replace it with regular pepperoni or turkey bacon works great, too.

Cheese wedge – If you don’t have a cheese wedge or you want to beef up your turkey ranch wrap with a little more fat and calories, adding a piece of deli cheese will be delicious.

Quick Tip(s)

When wrapping up your flatbread, do so cautiously to avoid any rips or tears in it.

You can easily meal prep these and eat them cold! If you want to make these ahead of time, wrap your crunch wrap up tightly in tin foil after you’ve seared it, store in the fridge, and eat it later. You can either eat it cold or pop it in the microwave for a minute.
