Macro-Balanced Lunch Boxes: 3 Ways!
Ingredients
- 2 slices deli turkey, sliced
- 6 turkey pepperonis
- 6 small salamis
- 6 cubes cheddar cheese
- 10 whole wheat crackers
- ½ cup blackberries
- 3 oz. baby carrots
Lunch Box Option 2: Chicken Salad With Crackers Box
- Whole grain crackers
- Chicken salad (homemade or store-bought)
- Celery sticks
- Apple slices
- Peanut butter
Lunch Box Option 3: Hummus Box
- Hummus
- Pita bread or pita chips
- Broccoli, carrots, pepper slices
- Mozzarella cheese stick
- Assorted nuts
Optional
- A sweet treat or two in each box!
Instructions
- Roll deli turkey and slice into 6 even pieces.
- Using a tooth pick, layer meats and cheese (turkey, turkey pepperoni, salami, and cheese). Continue until all 6 meat/cheese sets have been skewered by toothpicks.
- Add meat/cheese to sectioned container.
- Fill in remaining compartments with carrots, blackberries, crackers, etc. For foods that you prefer to keep separate, use a cupcake liner!
