3 Reasons You'll Love This Macro-Friendly Chick-Fil-A Cobb Salad Recipe
- High Protein Content: With 37g of protein primarily from the breaded chicken breast strips and the hard-boiled egg, this salad is an excellent choice for those looking to build muscle, maintain lean body mass, or simply keep full and satisfied for longer. Protein is a vital macronutrient that supports muscle repair and growth, and having a salad packed with it makes it a great post-workout meal or a filling lunch option.
- Versatile Ingredient Choices: The recipe incorporates a variety of ingredients, from field greens and roasted corn to cheese and avocado dressing. This not only adds layers of flavor and texture to the dish but also allows for flexibility. Whether someone prefers to use a different type of cheese, a unique salad mix, or an alternative dressing, there's room to customize the salad to individual tastes without compromising the essence of the recipe.
- Balanced Nutritional Profile: Apart from the high protein content, this salad offers a balanced mix of carbs, fats, and essential nutrients. The field greens provide essential vitamins and minerals; the roasted corn adds a touch of sweetness and fiber; the turkey bacon gives a smoky flavor while being leaner than regular bacon; and the Avocado Green Goddess Dressing contributes healthy fats. This combination ensures that one gets a well-rounded meal that's not only tasty but also nutritionally beneficial.
Overall, this recipe offers a delightful mix of flavors, textures, and nutritional benefits, making it a go-to choice for those seeking a hearty, healthy, and delicious meal option!

Macro Friendly Copycat Chick-Fil-A Cobb Salad
- 1 Paring knife
- 1 Air fryer
- 1 small skillet
- 2 breaded chicken breast strips (about 85g), chopped (I used Just Bare Chicken Strips)
- 1 piece turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1½ cups field greens salad mix
- ¼ cup roasted corn (I used Fire Roasted Frozen Corn from Birds Eye, but a can of corn or corn off the cob will work)
- 1 large hard-boiled egg, sliced
- ¼ cup shredded cheese (I used a Monterey Jack & cheddar cheese blend)
- 2 tbsp Avocado Green Goddess Dressing (I used Simply Marzetti but Bolthouse has a great option, too)
- Airfry chicken according to package directions. Cook bacon in a small skillet over medium-high heat until well browned. Set aside to cool.
- In a large salad bowl, add your field greens.
- Chop chicken strips, slice your egg, and crumble bacon once it’s cooled. Add to top of greens.
- Sprinkle on cheese, corn, and dressing.
