As someone who is committed to continuing my education and always leveling up my knowledge and skills so that I can best serve my clients and audience, I recently decided to get certified as a Macro Coach through G Transformation Academy. In this article, I’ll be sharing my Macro Mentorship Certification Review and experience with you in case you’re considering investing in this course.
I have taken many courses and received multiple certifications in the fields of nutrition and exercise and can tell you that all courses and certification programs are not created equal. These experiences have helped me to be able to discern which ones are worth investing in and which ones are not.
Let’s dive into my review of the Macro Mentorship Certification!
What is the Macro Mentorship Certification?
Macro Mentorship is a macro nutrition coaching certification program developed by Eve Guzman from the G Transformation Academy.
Macro Mentorship is designed to help those interested in coaching a macro nutrition program to their clients to understand and apply nutrition, macros, coaching, mindset, and business strategies to help you get your clients the best results possible while growing a thriving online business.
This certification program is a 4-month program that’s approved by NASM, ISSA, and AFAA in the realms of group coaching and business. It’s a self-paced certification program that includes group support, weekly calls, and access to the Macro Mentorship team for support.
Who is Macro Mentorship a Good Fit For?
The Macro Mentorship Certification Program is a great fit for online nutrition, health, and/or fitness coaches who would like to take their knowledge of macros and coaching clients to the next level. With that said, I don’t think being a coach is a prerequisite for joining this program. Those who have a familiarity with macros and nutrition and who are just starting out will be able to build a business from the ground up.
The following populations might be a good fit for the Macro Mentorship Certification through G Transformation Academy:
- Online or in-person health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness coaches who are looking to grow their client base and learn new skills.
- Coaches who currently have a basic understanding of macros and are interested in taking that knowledge to the next level to be able to best serve their clients.
- Fitness professionals who would like to be able to offer nutrition coaching to their clients.
- Anyone who is interested in nutrition and macros and has the drive to build a thriving business that they can operate from anywhere.
What’s the Course Like (Curriculum)?
The Macro Mentorship Certification is unlike any other course or program I have enrolled in. Eve and the team really take things to the next level and cover everything you need to build a business from the ground up and to do so with maximum confidence in your ability to help others get the results they’re seeking.
In addition to all of the necessary macro-based education training, the Macro Mentorship Curriculum also includes program design, client onboarding and management systems, and business scaling and management. Most nutrition courses focus solely on helping you to understand the foundations of the required knowledge and skills but don’t go the extra step to show you how to apply that knowledge and build an actual business. This is why Macro Mentorship is so valuable.

How Much Time Is Required?
To be honest, when I first say that this was a 4-month course, I was a little overwhelmed thinking that there was no way I would have the time to dedicate to it, however, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that you can go through the course at your own pace and take as little or as long (up to 12 months) as you’d like!
You have one year from the date of your start date (start date of the cohort) to take and pass your final exam. The actual cohort is a 4-month program, but it doesn’t take that long for you to get your certification. As soon as you have completed the 3 macronutrient modules, you can take the exam.
If you wanted to use the full 4-months of the cohort to finish your certification, it would probably require about 1-2 hours per week of your time. Personally, I binged the content very quickly and was ready to take the exam ASAP.
Additional Support & Resources
Aside from all of the value that you’ll find within the specific modules for macros and business-related topics, you’ll also benefit from additional support & resources within the program. While this is a 100% self-paced course, you are not going through it alone! There’s access to a coaches support group, live group coaching periodically, program launching, and business templates that are going to save you so much time.
You will also get access to tons of bonus training and calls where you’ll pick up even more tips and knowledge that you’ll be able to use as you build your business.
The G Transformation Academy team is truly invested in helping you succeed in your business and doing so with confidence. You will literally have access to everything you need to build your business and get your clients real results, I cannot say that about any other course that I have taken.
My Personal Experience With Macro Mentorship
By now it’s probably clear that I am a very big fan of and advocate for the Macro Mentorship Macro Coaching Certification. If you are interested in macros and becoming a leading macro coach, there’s no better way to do so than to invest in Macro Mentorship, I truly believe that.
Prior to enrolling, I had taken a couple of other maco-based nutrition courses through other reputable providers but was majorly disappointed in the lack of skill development they provided. There were no tangible takeaways that I could immediately implement and apply to a business. I was left feeling just as confused and unconfident as I was before I enrolled.
Macro Mentorship, on the other hand, was a completely different experience. I was learning and putting into practice the skills and knowledge I needed to coach clients immediately. Working through the course was simple, easy to understand, and very real. I find Eve to be very knowledgeable and someone who delivers the material with realness and confidence.
The whole course is on the platform Kajabi, which is easy to use and pretty straightforward. You can access the material through your desktop computer or by using the Kajabi app on your phone, which makes it really convenient because I would listen to my training material any chance I could get.
Finally, anytime I had a question or needed support with anything, I would place my question inside the private Facebook group and would get an answer back from Eve herself or one of her coaches. This is hands-down one of the most supportive and comprehensive certification programs I have ever done and certainly so when it comes to macro coaching specifically.
Cost and How to Sign Up
The investment for the Macro Membership changes from year to year, but know that the cost is well worth it for those who are serious about becoming a macro coach and building a long-term sustainable business. You will 100% make your money back within a year (most likely far less!) of getting your Macro Mentorship Certification so long as you apply the business strategies and go all in.
Macro Mentorship is not open all year long, I believe it’s open only a handful of times per year for a certain amount of spots before it’s closed until the next cohort begins. Each cohort runs for 4 months, so plan your timing accordingly.
Final Thoughts
Macro coaching is a very in-demand profession right now, and if you’re even remotely interested in becoming a certified coach, I wouldn’t hesitate to sign up for Macro Mentorship. I’ve learned more about macro coaching and how to build a sustainable business in the first few weeks of the course than I did from entire courses from other institutions.
The fact that this course is half client programming and macro nutrition knowledge and half business mentorship sets this apart from all the other courses and programs out there. I highly recommend Macro Mentorship to anyone who wants to make an investment in themselves that will provide them with tangible knowledge and skills that they can immediately translate into a growing and thriving business.
