Creamy Chicken Sausage Pasta (Ready in 25 Minutes!)
Equipment
- 1 Large Pot
- 1 Mixing spoon
- 1 Knife
- 1 Cutting Board
- Measuring cups and spoons
Ingredients
- 8 oz. Pasta shape of choice
- 1 tbsp. Olive oil
- 1 package Chicken sausages (4 links)
- 2 cups Marinara sauce
- 2 oz. Goat cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add sliced chicken sausages. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned on one side, avoiding frequent stirring. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low. Add marinara sauce and cooked pasta to the skillet. Stir to combine. Incorporate goat cheese, a splash of pasta water, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it warm through for about 1 minute. Adjust consistency with more pasta water if desired.
- Top the dish with optional toppings of your choice, such as grated parmesan cheese, basil, parsley, or red pepper flakes. Serve immediately and enjoy!
