Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet or Pan
  • 1 Large wooden spoon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Ground turkey breakfast sausage
  • 2 10 oz. Cans Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilles Undrained
  • 2 8 oz. Blocks 1/3 fat cream cheese At room temperature

Instructions

  • In a large skillet or a medium-sized saucepan, cook the turkey sausage over medium heat. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to break the sausage into smaller pieces as it cooks. Continue to cook the sausage until it's browned and cooked through.
  • Once the sausage is fully cooked, add the two cans of Rotel tomatoes to the skillet with the cooked sausage. Stir well to combine.
  • Reduce the heat to low, and add the cream cheese pieces to the skillet. Stir continuously as the cream cheese melts into the sausage and tomato mixture. Continue cooking and stirring until the cream cheese is completely smooth and the dip is well combined.
  • Once the dip is smooth and all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, remove it from the heat. Serve your delicious 3-Ingredient Sausage Dip with your favorite tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetable sticks. Enjoy!

Notes

You can customize the spiciness of this dip by choosing between the original, hot, or fire-roasted varieties of Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies. If you prefer a milder dip, go for the original version, while those who enjoy some heat can opt for the hot or fire-roasted options.
Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for a few days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop, stirring occasionally, until it's heated through.
This versatile dip can be enjoyed with various dippers, including tortilla chips, pretzel bites, breadsticks, or a selection of fresh vegetables like carrot and celery sticks.
