As a high-protein recipe creator, I'm always paying attention to viral recipes on social media. I recently started seeing several variations of Breakfast Protein Biscuits and decided to make my own version using my favorite breakfast combination (sausage, egg, and cheese).
My biscuits came out looking a bit more like a giant, savory breakfast cookie, but I'm not mad because these biscuits are absolutely delicious and make for the perfect meal-packed breakfast. I like to pair mine with a side of egg whites, greek yogurt, and a protein shake to complete my high-protein breakfast.

3 Reasons Why You'll Love This Recipe
- The biscuits have the perfect texture. I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of dry, crumbly biscuits. Thankfully, these Viral Breakfast Protein Biscuits come out with the perfect texture – they're slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
- If you meal prep a batch of these, you'll be thanking yourself all week. Whip up a batch of these on Sunday, store them in your refrigerator, and enjoy the ease of pulling out and warming up a delicious, hearty breakfast all week. While I don't love meal prepping in the moment, I'm always grateful for the time I invested when I don't have to guess what to eat all week.
- They can be completely customized. You can use any spices, meats, cheeses, veggies, etc. that you wish! I love how easy it is to take the base biscuit dough recipe and add your own personal flavor preferences (or just whatever you have in the fridge!).
