If you've ever experienced Dole Whip from Disney, then you understand the hype. Since most of us aren't spending our days at a Disney theme park, I figured we should be able to make our own copycat version at home. And a big bonus of this recipe is that it's protein-packed.
This creamy, tropical, slightly tangy delight is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth while keeping your goals in check. The best part is that you don't need any fancy equipment for this – just a regular kitchen blender!
If making healthy ice cream or frozen treats at home is your thing, then you have to try our Cottage Cheese Protein Ice Cream
3 Reasons Why You'll Love This Recipe
- It's a light, refreshing treat with 19g of protein. If you're like me, desserts and sweet treats are a must – I don't want to live in a world without them. Luckily, we can take some of our most cherished treats (like Dole Whip from the most magical place on earth…) and put a macro-friendly spin on it so we can enjoy it anytime.
- It takes 5 minutes to make. Sometimes the different between making a healthy choice that's in alignment with your goals and one that's not is the time needed. When I'm craving something sweet, it's gotta be quick or I'm almost guarenteed to just grab the pint of Ben & Jerry's out of the fridge and eat that instead. Our Protein Dole Whip is ready to eat in 5 minutes or less.
- It'll fit your macros. At around 250 calories per serving, you can fit this nicely into your macros whether you're in a deficit or maintenance. Pre-log a serving of Dole Whip into your day and work the rest of your meals around it – it'll be worth it!
