I can remember back when I was in school when we had sloppy joes on the school lunch menu and not wanting them (not sure why, maybe it was the name??). Those were days when I'd pack a lunch or choose the “soup” option which included whatever the soup of the day was with a triple decker peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Fast forward to today and I love sloppy joes! So do my family. This Macro-Friendly Sloppy Joe Bake is the perfect twist on this classic meal. I might even like this better than the traditional sandwich style. Of course, we have those, too. The next time you're craving a classic sloppy joe, give our Turkey Sloppy Joes a try!
