High Protein Egg White Turkey Bagel Rolls

  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 Spoon or spatula
  • 1 baking sheet


  • 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup Low-Fat Cottage Cheese
  • 2 tsp Everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 cup liquid egg whites
  • 6 oz ground turkey breakfast sausage
  • Cooking spray


  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  • Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium low heat and pour 6 egg whites in. Stir slowly for 5-10 minutes until eggs are scrambled. Pour into a bowl and set aside.
  • Using the same pan, brown turkey sausage. Once no longer pink, drain excess grease and water. Set aside.
  • Begin preparing the bagels by whisking together flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold in cottage cheese.
  • Lightly flower a work surface or countertop and place dough on top. Begin kneading the dough until its supple and no longer sticky. It will take some time for the cottage cheese to breakdown and meld into the flour. If necessary, add more flour.
  • Divide the dough into six equal parts. Roll each portion of dough into a ball press into a flat disc about ¼” thick.
  • Begin filling each piece of dough with a portion of scrambled eggs and turkey sausage. Then, begin rolling the dough around the turkey & egg whites until fully encompassed.
  • Add bagel rolls to a baking sheet or pan, spray tops with cooking spray and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  • Bake the bagel rolls in pre-heated oven for 24-26 minutes, or until puffy and golden.
  • Once cooled, enjoy!


These breakfast bagel rolls are perfect for meal prepping for busy weekday mornings. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and heat for 15-30 seconds when ready to eat.
