For Christmas this year, I asked my mom for some new appliances to outfit my new kitchen. I had seen and heard a lot of buzz around the Beautiful By Drew Barrymore collection at Walmart and wanted to give them a try.
Initially, I was very drawn to the aesthetic of the collection – they’re crisp, sleek, and quite simply, beautiful to look at. My current kitchen appliances were pretty old and were mismatched. I was also struck by how affordable the collection was, I didn’t feel guilty asking for them as a gift.
I’ve been using my Beautiful by Drew Barrymore appliances for a couple of months now and have shared videos with them on Instagram, which has generated a lot of questions, so I figured I would write out my full review and experience of these products in case you’re also in the market for some new kitchen appliances.
What I Bought (So Far)
Here’s what appliances from the Beautiful By Drew Barrymore collection at Walmart:

Slow Cooker Review
Let’s start with my favorite Drew Barrymore appliance thus far, the Beautiful 6 qt. Programmable Slow Cooker. Slow cooker meals are a favorite of my Fueled Recipe members, so it’s important that I have a quality crockpot to test recipes.
As soon as I unboxed my new slow cooker, I was obsessed. It truly is beautiful, just as the brand promises. My old slow cooker was very simplistic in nature; it had a dial that had settings (low, high, and keep warm), it got the job done, but didn’t offer any customization.
This slow cooker, on the other hand, does. There are 5 preset cooking functions (all digital, by the way); meat, poultry, stew, soup, and chili. I love that I can customize the setting to match what I’m cooking. For example, I made my favorite Macro-Friendly Chili recipe the other day and used the chili setting – it came out perfectly!
I love how sleek the slow cooker is with the digital display, no bulky knobs to be found anywhere. The touchscreen display lights up when you’re ready to use it, but powers down when you’re not. I also noticed that the slow cooker will automatically switch to the “keep warm” function once the cooking cycle is over, which is a fantastic feature that I’ve yet to see on any other crockpot. This is ideal for times when your meal is done cooking and you might not be home in time to switch it yourself and you wish to keep your meal hot and fresh for when you’re ready to eat it.
Other features that I like include the fact that it’s dishwasher safe (the inside pot), the cool-tough handles, and the lid rest for when you’re stirring or serving your dish. Don’t underestimate the power of the simple lid rest feature – if you’ve ever had the experience of taking the top off your slow cooker and then dealing with the water and condensation rolling off all over your counter, this will feel like a genius invention that you can’t believe you ever lived without.
Toaster Review
If I had to show you the toaster I was working with prior to buying this toaster, I would be ashamed. It was years old and had seen much better days, to put it lightly. I was overdue for a toaster and was beyond excited to be receiving one from Beautiful.
I went with the 2-slice toaster, although they have a 4-slice option, too. We don’t typically toast more than 2 things at once, so I figured why take up more precious kitchen real estate when we don’t need to.
The toaster features a digital display that’s touch-activated. There are 3 preset functions; bagels, frozen bread, or gluten-free. I have not used the gluten-free option yet, however, we use the bagel and frozen features often (mostly frozen waffles).
One of my favorite features of this toaster is the extra-wide toaster slot that accommodate a variety of items easily. We have a couple of “toaster pocket” recipes on the blog (like this Macro-Friendly Toaster Pocket). Everything I have put in there thus far has slid in and out easily!
There are 7 different toasting shades available, from light to extra toasty and there’s a progress bar at the bottom of the toaster that serves as a countdown to when your food will pop up and be ready to eat (my kids love watching that!).
I’m very impressed with the Drew Barrymore Toaster, it’s a serious upgrade from what I was working with before and it has been nothing but functional since I’ve gotten it. One thing that I noted was interesting and something that I need to look into is that when I plug it into a certain plug in my kitchen, it trips the breaker. It’s very odd that I can plug other appliances into that same outlet without issue. I am going to contact my electrician about that.
Air Fryer Review
We use our air fryer multiple times each week – it’s truly a game-changer for quick, easy meals. I was beyond excited to get my Beautiful 9 qt. TriZone Air Fryer as it has 2 different baskets for with different cooking zones.
Prior to getting this air fryer, I was using one that only had one basket, which made it difficult to cook multiple things at once because it was small and there was no way to set different temperatures for different foods.
Not only does this air fryer have two baskets, but if you want to cook a larger meal, you can remove the basket divider and utilize the whole basket at once. This feature alone makes this air fryer one of the most functional I’ve seen.
This air fryer has the same touchscreen display as the other Beautiful appliances and it has a ton of options. I’ll be honest, I didn’t read the instructions before getting started so it took me a while to figure out how to customize each basket setting. Once I figured it out, I loved how I could customize each side of the basket to a different temperature, cooking style, and time – it saves so much time.
This appliance, just like the others is really sleek and beautiful. It certainly makes a statement. One thing that is important to note is that it’s quite large and heavy. If you’re like me and you don’t keep your appliances on your countertop, be aware that you’ll need to have some muscle and strength to move this thing around.
Cost
Obviously, I am a raving fan of the Beautiful by Drew Barrymore line at Walmart. I’m not even sure how big of a Drew Barrymore fan I am, but I am most definitely a fan of her kitchen gadgets!
The cost of the Beautiful line from Walmart is yet another reason why I’m such a fan. These products are priced so fairly and frequently go on sale, too.

I am so impressed with the Beautiful appliances from Walmart/Drew Barrymore. These appliances have exceeded my expectations and have added a fresh, sleek look to my kitchen. I’ve seen so many influencers and recipe creators using these products, and now I can see for myself why: they’re super high-quality, innovative, and gorgeous to look at. Oh, and they’re budget-friendly, which is something we could all use a little more of these days.
