Meal Prep Pizza Pasta Bowls (with 37g of Protein!)

Packed with protein and satisfying pizza flavors, this easy meal prep recipe is perfect for weekday lunches of busy weeknight dinners!

Equipment

  • 4 Oven safe meal prep containers with lids
  • Large spoon or spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Banza rotini pasta, cooked Or pasta of choice
  • 16 oz. Ground chicken breast, cooked and drained
  • 60 grams Mini pepperonis
  • 40 grams Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 tbsp Pizza sauce
  • Optional seasonings: Red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Cook ground chicken and pasta according to package instructions.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Assemble pizza bowls by splitting ground chicken, pasta, pizza sauce, and pepperoni between 4 bowls. Sprinkle with seasoinings, if desired.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  • Place in oven and bake for ~10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool. Once cooled, seal with airtight lids and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When ready to eat, microwave for 60-90 seconds. Enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to beef up your bowls by adding any additional pizza toppings of your choice i.e. sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.
