In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken breast with the taco sauce. Mix well to evenly coat the chicken.
Take a tortilla and place a generous amount of the chicken mixture in the center. Sprinkle cheese on top of the chicken. Roll it up loosely and place it seam-side down in a 9x13 baking dish. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas, chicken mixture, and cheese.
Pour the green enchilada sauce evenly over the rolled tortillas in the baking dish, covering them completely.
Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling and the enchiladas are heated through.
Once cooked, remove the enchiladas from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve the chicken enchiladas warm, optionally garnished with chopped fresh cilantro or pico.
