Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

  2. Place the cauliflower florets in a large Ziploc bag.

  3. In a separate small bowl, mix together the melted butter and hot sauce. Pour this mixture over the cauliflower and toss thoroughly to ensure all pieces are evenly coated.

  4. In another small bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Gradually sprinkle about a quarter of this mixture over the cauliflower, shaking the bag to coat evenly. Continue adding the flour mixture in small portions, shaking well after each addition, until it's all used up.

  5. Generously spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer, cooking in batches if needed based on the size of your air fryer. Cook for about 12 minutes at 400°F, or until crispy and golden.

  6. Serve the cauliflower immediately with preferred dipping sauce!

Tami’s notes

If you prefer a milder version, reduce the amount of hot sauce or use a milder hot sauce. For extra heat, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture or increasing the amount of hot sauce.

Buffalo cauliflower pairs perfectly with celery and carrot sticks, just like traditional Buffalo wings. For a more substantial side, serve it with a simple green salad or sweet potato fries.

If using an oven, preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the cauliflower florets in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy. You may want to broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end for extra crispiness.
